What the app collects

PlushDays and its widgets do not collect or upload personal data. There are no accounts, ads, tracking, analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs. The app and widgets do not make network requests.

Calendar access

PlushDays requests full calendar access through Apple's EventKit to show, create, and delete events. Editing an event opens the system event editor. It also uses the number of events today to choose the sentence below the large date. This happens on your device.

Home Screen, Lock Screen, and StandBy widgets read today's and tomorrow's events from your system calendars and display them on your device. The Plush Countdown widget reads only the countdowns saved in the app.

You can change or withdraw access at any time:

Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars → PlushDays → None

Without calendar access, you can still use the date display, countdowns, and monthly companions. You can enable access again in Settings.

Where events are stored

Events are stored in your own system calendars, such as iCloud or other calendar accounts you have added to your iPhone. PlushDays does not keep a separate copy or upload them to the developer or anyone else.

If your calendars sync through iCloud or another account, Apple or that account provider handles the syncing under your system settings. PlushDays does not provide that sync service.

You control how long events are kept and can delete them in your calendar. Deleting PlushDays does not delete events you created. The developer holds no copy of your calendar data to retain or delete.

Countdowns and preferences on your device

Countdowns you add in the Countdowns tab, including each title, date, repeat setting, and the companion you picked, are stored only on your device, in storage shared by the app and its widgets. They are not written to your system calendars or uploaded, and PlushDays does not sync them between devices. You can delete a countdown in the app at any time. Deleting PlushDays also deletes all of your countdowns.

Your monthly companions, first day of the week, calendars shown, appearance, haptics, and app icon preferences are stored the same way. PlushDays does not send them off your device. They are removed when you delete the app.

Holidays

In the China mainland region, the monthly calendar reads the system's China mainland holiday subscription calendar, maintained by Apple, to show rest-day and adjusted workday markers. PlushDays does not download or store its own holiday data. It does not show these markers in Taiwan, Hong Kong, or other regions.

Third parties

PlushDays does not share your personal data with third parties. Its only third-party library is Rive, which plays animation files bundled with the app, entirely on your device. Rive's privacy manifest also declares that it does not collect data.

When you email me

If you email apps@edininja.dev, I receive your email address and the content of your message. I use them only to reply to you. If you would like your correspondence deleted, please email me at the same address.

Children

PlushDays does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I will update this page and its effective date. Important changes will also appear in the app's release notes.
